WHO IS COACHING FOR?
Coaching is for EVERYONE.  You don't have to be in a crisis to seek and benefit from life coaching.  Coaching is about empowerment, building a growth mindset, motivation and accountability.  It's about identifying your strengths and using them to create the change you desire.   No matter which stage of life or crossroad you are at, coaching is for you.  Coaching will bring you to your future self through the collaborative creation of an action plan and a road map to get you there.   All that is required is an open mind and a commitment to the process and to yourself.  

If you are unsure what your vision is, but you know you are desiring change, we will figure it out together.   Just come with an open mind and a willingness to commit to the process and you will gain personal fulfillment.  


WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THERAPY AND COACHING?
There can be similarities between therapy and coaching, however, the main difference between the two is this: Therapy is about exploring an undesirable past, coaching is about enhancing the present and designing your most desirable future. 

The role of a coach is to create your action plan, your pathway and provide you with the roadmap you need to bring you to your future self.  A coach holds you accountable, they are your cheerleader, and believe in you when you may not believe in yourself.  Coaches encourage and empower you all while paving your pathway to personal growth and development and living a most fulfilling life.

A life coach is someone committed to you, your change and your personal fulfillment.  They will tell you it's ok when things aren't going as planned and will guide you to creating a shift in the way you have been going about things, so that you WILL succeed and trust yourself again.  

WHAT CREDENTIALS DO YOU HAVE?
I am certified in Strategic Intervention Coach through the Robbins-Madanes Coaching Program.  I am also trained to provide virtual coaching, so I have the ability to work with anyone, anywhere around the world!

I am also a trained psychotherapist and have been successfully in practice for more than 20 years.  Although I practice both psychotherapy and coaching services, they are separate of each other.  Therapy is about exploring and understanding your past, sometimes undesirable, and coaching is about enhancing and strengthening your present and designing your most desirable future. 

My extensive training, collectively, provides me with a deeper understanding of you, your blocks, self-doubts and the contributions your past experiences have imposed on your present everyday functioning and participation in life.  This is a very important element I add to my service and it guides us more deeply in creating your personalized action plan to your success. 

I am a continuous student, always learning through workshops, trainings and reading to strengthen my skills and keep me sharp on service trends and modalities. 

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
My office is located in Dutchess County, New York, USA.  I am trained in virtual coaching and therefore have the ability to work with anyone from anywhere around the world via Zoom/Facetime/Doxy.me/Google Hangout.  For those of you inquiring who are local to me, I also have office hours for in-person sessions.  I can also provide sessions over the telephone, whichever works best for your lifestyle and location! 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR MY FIRST SESSION?
If you are unsure of whether Coaching is for you, I always start with a complimentary discovery call with me.  As part of scheduling this call, you will answer three questions about yourself that is part of the scheduling process.  This provides me with some brief information about you so that I am prepared for your call.  During your complimentary call I will ask that you share more about yourself and you will also have the opportunity to ask me questions about, my practice, my approaches and my services.  

Once you’ve decided you’d like to get started, the first session or two is spent establishing our relationship and learning about who you are and what has brought you to coaching. These initial sessions are very structured and I will be guiding the conversation to gain the information that will help us best work together. It is integral that I understand who you are and what is important to you, so I can tailor my approach to work best for YOU. All you need to bring is an open mind and a desire to see new action in your life!
